El Concilio California’s Evening of Celebration is a special annual gathering that honors community leadership, service, and commitment to the diverse communities of Stanislaus County. This event brings together partners, advocates, civic leaders, business representatives, service providers, and friends of El Concilio for an evening of dining, conversation, entertainment, and recognition.
This year we honor four individuals who share in our commitment to uplifting the diverse marginalized, minority, and economically segregated communities of California’s Central Valley:
- Jeremiah Williams ~ Amigo of the Year
- Maria Arevalo ~ Amiga of the Year
- Tony Madrigal ~ Unsung Hero
- Stanislaus Latino Giving Circle ~ La Raza Award
The Evening of Celebration reflects ECC’s long-standing belief that meaningful change happens through partnership. Each year, we recognize individuals and organizations whose work has advanced dignity, opportunity, equity, and community strength. These honorees represent the values at the heart of El Concilio’s mission: service, advocacy, compassion, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of families throughout the region.
This event also provides an opportunity to celebrate ECC’s continuing impact as one of the Stanislaus County’s leading community-based organizations. Through the support of sponsors, attendees, donors, and partners, the Evening of Celebration helps sustain programs that meet urgent needs while building pathways toward long-term stability and success.
